Custom global folder color

Asked by dim

Nice extension, Do you plan to add a custom global color option? I think it will be a nice feature to have.

Hi,
As you can see in the slides, http://foldercolor.tuxfamily.org/ there
is already a Global Color.
Use the default Ubuntu theme for that or a theme compatible with it.
Best regards.

Thank you for your quick reply.
Sorry, maybe I didn't make my self clear enough. I know that there is a global color option but you can choose only from presetted colors. On per folder basis user has the option to add a custom color but this custom option is missing from global color menu. Do you plan to implement this feature or this is how it is supposed to be? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
I don't understand the issue. You'll have the Global Color only in the
themes prepared for that (except numix).
Which theme do you use?
Best regards.

I'm currently using Arc, I understand that global color is available only if the theme ready for it.

For example Arc give me the option to pick from eleven predined global colors. I asking if it is possible to have a "select custom color" pop up like in per folder basis that you can pick any color you like as global color by hex value.

Hi,
No, it will only work with the available themes.
Best regards.
