What kernels can I use with Fluxbuntu 7.10RC?

Asked by Konstantin Tokarev

Kernel 2.6.22.16 was recently released, and user of 2.6.22-series are recommended to upgrade kernel. Can I use 2.6-22.16? or, for example, 2.6.23.14?

You can use any kernel that has been packaged or backported for Gutsy. If
you desire to run a version that is not in Gutsy package repos or backport
repos, then you will need to compile the kernel from sources. So to answer
your question "in-short", yes... you can.
