Double Quotes, Apostrophies and Dashes

Hi there,

I'm having a little issue with the pdf output when the rss feed contains double and single quotes.
The problem when text is pasted into Wordpress via the plain text button, or indeed via notepad 1st to strip and formatting, double and single quotes are not the same as if typed directly into notepad.

The mixed up character seem to change, but here are some:

Dashes - –
Pound symbol - Â Â
Opening double quote: ‘
Closing double quote: ’

I need to do a str_replace to avoid this happening. I've tried adding replaces to line 368 of madepdf.php but it didn't seem to make any difference.

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately I don't have time to look into it at the moment, and before I do I will need to be able to reproduce the problem - if there's a feed URL you can point to that produces these results, please submit.

Unfortunately our wordpress and pdf newspaper installation is on an internal server and therefore not available externally.

No prob ILT. I haven't had any other reports so I don't think I'll be looking into it. If it's important for you, contact me for paid support.
