Can't report bug and nsExtensionManager.js error

Asked by M.Bajkowski

When I click on your Report Bug menu option/icon nothing happens except what looks like a menu opens for a blink of an eye, so I am unable to even read it.

This may be a side a side effect of a Firefox error I noticed today that resulted in disappearance of all my Firefox add-on although they seems to be still listed as installed -- any attempt of add-on's reinstallation results in the following error message:

Error: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsISafeOutputStream.finish]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/components/nsExtensionManager.js :: closeSafeFileOutputStream :: line 568" data: no]
Source File: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/components/nsExtensionManager.js
Line: 568

Please advice.
