Title text disappears too quickly

Firefox 3 did a nice job finally getting line-wrapping on the tooltip hover text ("title" attribute). Unfortunately, long text still isn't readable, because it disappears after a few seconds. Is there a way to extend this time (preferably indefinitely)?

The Firefox guys are working on it already https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395668,
in the meantime, the usual workaround in such situations has always been
to right-click the link, choose properties and read the title (you can resize the properties
window if the title doesn't fit it).
