Asked by Rohith Kumar

I am so annoyed of Firefox google search.. I have Firefox 11.0 and whenever Igive search, it does to local "hindi" language. When I change the settings in http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en (Google language settings) but it changes only for that instance. Kindly help to remove this, and get the english as default web search

Firefox seams worse browser after this language option.. I feel Ubuntu should shift to Opera now.. Atleast they are far better, and of course, if we map the dependencies, firefox most often copies ideas from Opera browser.. So annoyed with firefox now

Hi Rohith,

go and see if your system have maybe configured language to this. It is very plausible, that firefox uses system's default language on firefox load. You can found system settings by going to System settings > language settings.

If this helps you solve your question, please mark this thread as solved.

Regards,
Miha
