Budget won't save

It's true. I barrelled right in without reading any instructions. So. I'll go try to find some, but why would a budget for October not save? I tried twice & selected for each field, then back button (as there was no save button): 0 budgets. HTC Merge US Cellular

It will not be saved if you click on back button. There should be ok/Cancel buttons on the bottom. Ok should work.
