Portfolio functionality : For market share

Can you add an account type of market share like? It will be like this:
(1) Deposite to that account and update the number of share based on the current value.
(2) Current value can be updated manually or directly from internet (using google/yahoo finance etc.)

Do you have any plan for this or any workaround for this?

You can have a look to moneymanagerex open source code/software.
