features request: schedule reminder & category scrolling suggestions

Asked by MOK|MATSURU

I am using the fabulous Financisto as my main financial tracking software. I have 3 suggestions to improve this great software.

01. Can we have an option schedule reminder instead of a committed transaction?

Now: what we have is, after I set a schedule, the transaction will be recorded into the blotter straight away when the time arrived.

Suggestion: When the time arrive, the transaction will appear in the blotter as an uncommitted transaction until i click and approve it. Also, a reminder will pop up to ask us if we wanted to approve this transaction or defer it to later date.

Rational: This is suggested because sometimes, I received late payments and I wanted to wait for the cash before committing a transaction.

02. alphabetical scroll/ category word suggestions when selecting category.

Now: We have the category scrolling by using finger to flick and find the list.

Suggestions: Can we have an Alphabetical list on the right hand side of the category scroll? Like our contact list. That way, i can find and select the category i want faster (if possible, add in another option to quick select for sub category). or, an option to type in category manually and have it suggest the closest/best match from our category list.

Rational: I have alot of categories in my list and it is taking a long time, hard to find the category i wanted.

-----------------------

p03. Add in a new field called 'Payee'

Now: We dont have this option. i resort to use the 'note' field to record who i am dealing the transaction with.

Suggestions: A new field to record 'payee'

Possible solution: Maybe i can use the 'project' field to substitute.

hi, MOK|MATSURU, please don't be offended :)

your proposals are noted, could you please create a separate blueprint for every point, so we can easily track them and plan them for release.

thanks!

Hello Mok | Matsura,
I think Denis has done an excellent job in fielding most queries thus far.

As he is the sole developer, do give him some time to revert.

Can you help with this problem?
