Is it possible to use the long double floating-point number or the interval number in the computation?

Asked by Xuefeng Liu

Dear Sir,

I want to run Dolphin with specified floating-point number, for example,
the long double floating-point number or the interval number.

Maybe I need to overload both the functions and the data type.
This project contains two steps: the first step is to assemble the matrices with specified data type;
the second is to design the solvers that solve the linear equations with wanted data type.
Could anyone give me a hint on the difficulty of such a project and where to start?

With best regards!

Xuefeng LIU

This would require major work.
