newbie - Ubuntu mint 32 or 64 ? libraries ?

Dear FEniCS team,

I am newbie on this, so my question is about what system to choose for the installation; Ubuntu Mint 32 or 64 ? has to do with the python/c++ version? I'll really appreciate it if someone could me explain or have a link to understand ...

If you are on a 64 bit machine choose the latter. If you have a quite
new computer (think last 4 years) this is most probably the case.
