Scroll wheel to change volume in tray icon

Asked by alvare

In Ubuntu 9.04 I have exaile version 0.2.14 and when I scrolled up/down in the tray icon the volume didn't changed.
This was a bug I think I solved: the "scroll()" function in the EggTrayIcon class used SCROLL_UP, SCROLL_LEFT, etc instead of xlmisc.SCROLL_UP, etc.

But I was looking in the last release and it doesn't even has this function, so neither the bug.

If the new release has this feature then I didn't find it and excuse me, but if it doesn't because of that silly bug please implement it (I would do it if you have no problem).

Hi alvare,
Sorry for the late reply. You're right that the 0.3 tray icon didn't have that functionality. Now it does, though, along with the middle-click-to-pause. Enjoy. :-)
