Is there a way to apply message filters to existing messages ?

I'd like to know if there's a way to apply new message filters to existing emails. I am using Evo 2.24.2 in Intrepid with an IMAP account.

In Evolution's main menu, there is an item "Message" → "Apply filters (Ctrl+Y)" which should have the desired effect: your message filters will be applied to all selected messages. Thus, you have to select all mails that you want to be filtered using Ctrl+A in a folder for example. At the moment, my installation of Evolution throws an error message ("Error while Filtering Selected Messages."), but I hope it works for you.

This worked for me, however this applies ALL filters.

But thank you! I had missed that option, I assumed it would be in the filters editor.
