When trying to send email error message unable to find pop, or smtp servers my internet connection is gharter high speed . Canyou help me set up my email account

  I have installed ubuntu on my laptop and that is where i am having problems. laptop address is <email address hidden>

Joe,

The first issue is going to be that charter blocks port 25 for smtp mail: You'll need to contact charter and doublecheck with them which specific mail settings you're going to use within your mail client.

Once you have the details from them you'll be able to easily plop them into the mail client you're setting up within the client you're using on Ubuntu and they should function quite fine. :)
