Eternity Screensaver

preview and screen blank

 I went through all the install steps for eternity screensaver. It is listed as a screensaver with all the rest. When I choose it the preview pane is black and when you click preview it is also black. I am using a Dell optiplex 755 with an ati card. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am a newbie to Linux. I am using Ubuntu 8.04.

Hi,

The xorg.conf solution described in the following bug report has been known to fix issues with ATi graphics cards:
