Documentation links

Asked by Carlos Valdes

Hi Esys-Particle community.
Recently, I tried to access to online documentation of the Python API documentation of Esys-Particle, but all link are readressed to University of Queensland web page. I used the link in FAQ 260 and failed.
Can you provide a link to visit the Python API documentation of Esys-Particle and also Gengeo, please?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Carlos,

Unfortunately, the UQ webserver for the ESyS and GenGeo API docs has been permanently shut down recently. Until such time that I can arrange a replacement server, I have uploaded a copy of the API docs to launchpad so that users may download it to their PC:
https://launchpad.net/esys-particle/trunk/3.0-alpha/+download/ESyS-Particle_GenGeo_Python_API_Docs.zip

Once you have downloaded and unpacked the zipfile, you will find two subfolders, one each for esys and gengeo. Within each of these is a html/ subfolder. Using a browser, open the "index.html" file in this subfolder to view the documentation.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

Dion

Thanks Zhumude. I really appreciate your effort in this regard.

If it is not too onerous, could you please also mirror the GenGeo API documentation?

Cheers,

Dion
