Hi Qiang,

The maximum volume fraction depends on the ratio of minimum:maximum particle radius. If the particles are all approximately equal in size, the volume fraction should be close to 0.64. If the minimum particle radius is approximately 1/10th the maximum particle radius, the volume fraction will increase up to approximately 0.80.
