Fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libbosst

I am a new user and I'm working on modelling of gravity flow and downloaded the ESyS Particle software. I tried to follow the installation instructions from:

https://launchpadlibrarian.net/139659869/esys-particle-win-%28v2.1%29-build-instructions.pdf.

But the pre-requisite Boostpro is no longer available since 2014, instead I found this alternative solution(http://www.technical-recipes.com/2014/how-to-use-the-boost-compiled-libraries-in-windows/) useful in setting up the Boost libraries that require separate compilation. Finally, I installed Boostpro 1.47.0, but when trying to install ESys Particle 2.8 throws an error that does not solve in building procces when reaching 5%

I have some questions about this and your help would be very important. I dont know if this error had been presented you before. Do you know why it may be due?, or there is some measure of contingency?.

Hi Katherine,

Thank you for your questions, but unfortunately the Windows compatible version of ESyS-Particle is not maintained by the developers any more. I suggest you to use a Linux system and install the latest stable version of ESyS-Particle (2.3.5).
