possibility to write TimeStepRunnable in C++

Asked by ceguo

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if it is possible to write Runnable in C++ which can improve efficiency than python code, especially the computation in the Runnable is expensive. This could find several applications:

1. One can define self-interested variables which can be updated, stored and output during time steps. This is complementary to the current fieldsaver.

2. One can couple ESyS-Particle with other simulation tools for multi-physics study, e.g. to update particle kinematics and/or forces due to fluid drag by coupling with a fluid solver.

Just some of my tentative ideas. Not sure applicable or not.
