NRotBondPrms and NRotElasticPrms

Asked by Dian

Hi all,

Do I have to use createExclusion (interactionName1 = "bond", interactionName2 = "repulsion") to simulate a particle pair undertaken either by NRotBondPrms or by NRotElasticPrms? Just like: I have to use createExclusion for one of the brittleBeamPrms and FrictionPrms interactions.

Thanks,
Dian

Hi Dian,

Yes, you must use createExclusion for NRotBondPrms and NRotElasticPrms. If you do not then the pair of particles will experience both bonded interactions and elastic repulsion until the bond breaks.

Cheers,

Dion
