Asked by Robert Sarracino

Is there a tutorial on how to use LsmGenGeo? Alternatively, where is the source code located, and what command do I use to call GenGeo?

Hi Robert,

In the latest version of the ESyS-Particle Tutorial (v2.3) we have commenced adding some documentation on how to use gengeo (formerly known as LsmGenGeo). The latest Tutorial is available here:
http://launchpad.net/esys-particle/2.3/2.3/+download/ESyS-Particle_Tutorial.pdf

The source code for gengeo-1.0 is available from the ESyS-Particle downloads page:
https://launchpad.net/esys-particle/+download
and the latest development version can be browsed/downloaded here:
https://code.launchpad.net/~esys-p-dev/esys-particle/gengeo

The gengeo source code includes some basic usage examples in the examples/ subdirectory however these are not comprehensive and rather poorly documented at present.

Cheers,

Dion

Hello Robert.

Following on Dion's answer, there are instructions at https://answers.launchpad.net/esys-particle/+faq/1614 for downloading the latest development revision of GenGeo from the repository, with extra instructions at https://answers.launchpad.net/esys-particle/+faq/1613 (steps 4 and 5) for configuring Bazaar (needed to download from the repository).

Vince
