Is esys.escript possible to model the dynamics problem

I am a beginner in esys.escript. My initial understanding of it was that it was a computational tool for solving partial differential equation problems using the finite element method. I wanted to ask that if it could consider doing dynamic analysis, such as considering the input of a period of earthquake time history, but I did not see such an example. I was hoping you could give me some Pointers?
