can I install esys-escript on windows?

Hi, Can I install esys-escript on Windows? The install document is a little complicated for me.

There will be a conda based installation for Anaconda3 available within the next couple of weeks. The creation of the offocial package is in the queue waiting to be completed.

Hi Jiayao,

It is possible to install escript in windows using Anaconda. To do so, first install Anaconda which is available here:
https://www.anaconda.com/products/individual

Then, once installed, open up a console and run the command:
conda install esys-escript -c conda-forge

If there are version conflicts you can create an environment if there are version issues, see

Hi, Adams, I installed it on Ubuntu, I didn't end up using it on Windows.
It looks much easier to use a virtual box.
