warning using Silo

Asked by Louise Olsen

Do I need to worry about this warning when using visit and opening a silo database:
The compute engine running on host shake74.geocomp.uq.edu.au issued the following warning: An examination of the first tet element in this mesh indicates that the node order is inverted from Silo's standard conventions. All tets are being automatically re-ordered.
Further messages of this issue will be suppressed.

No. The nodes of tetrahedra can be ordered in a number of ways and this message tells you that we are not using VisIt's convention. VisIt recognised this and reordered the tets accordingly so it should have no effect on the visualisation.

If the message popup is annoying you can disable it in VisIt's preferences window.
