cannot install escript .deb file in Ubuntu 12.04

Hi,

I am trying to install escript in Ubuntu 12.04, using the .deb file. For both the 32 bit and 64 bit files i get the following error message when i try to unpack the file:

dpkg --unpack escript-3.3-1-precise_amd64.deb

dpkg: error processing escript-3.3-1-precise_amd64.deb (--unpack):
 parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/control' near line 12 package 'escript':
 blank line in value of field 'Architecture'
Errors were encountered while processing:
 escript-3.3-1-precise_amd64.deb

Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Appologies Elco,
    I don't know how that got past me. I've uploaded new .deb files for precise (3.3-2) hopefully these will work better for you.
