semantics

The DarcyFlux solver...

Can you please calrify the user guides description of Darcy Flux, I think I am being overly semantic but I just want to be sure that I am working with a velocity and not a flux.

In the user guide, section 6.2 above eqn 6.33
"The problem is to solve for the velocity u and pressure p"
 " solve(u0, p0) returns the flux v"

I want the velocity, u ! ?

Thanks

Tom

Yes, the documentation is slack when it comes to the terms "velocity" and "flux". The value calculated is the flux. To get velocity you need to divide the flux by the porosity.

PS: I will clarify the documentation. Thanks for pointing that out.
PPS: The Darcy flow solver in the last release 3.2.1 is not very robust. There is new version in the next release.
