Epoptes cannot Broadcast

Asked by Stampoltas Christopher

Hi,

I have installed epoptes in the classroom and my problem is that although i can use the lock feature and can see the clients, i cannot use the broadcast feature.

I read some of the questions in other threads. The x11vnc is installed.

Can you help me?

Hi, please mention your distribution, the version, the desktop environment, and if you're using LTSP or not.
Also, on a client, run this, and paste the result:
ps aux | grep epoptes

Sorry, non LTS Ubuntu releases are not supported.
It's possible that it's using netplan instead of ifupdown and it's missing the if-up even that runs the root instance of epoptes-client.
Try with Ubuntu 16.04.

Can you help with this problem?
