Epoptes

No Thumbnails from Thin Clients

Hi,

We've setup Epoptes on both our Thin Client servers, with 'Server 1' as the Epoptes server. However, only clients that boot from 'Server 1' show thumbnails on the master, clients that boot from 'Server 2' do not. It is possible to see them and connect, but there are no thumbnails.

Is there something we're missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You probably configured correctly the server2 chroot,
but not the server2 root disk, /.

Either edit /etc/hosts in server2, or /etc/default/epoptes-client, so that the server DNS name or the $SERVER variable point to server1.
To verify that it's working correctly, open a gnome-terminal in a client booted from server2,
and manually run /usr/sbin/epoptes-client,
it should say
 * Epoptes-client connecting to server:789...
    ...done.
