Can I disable client thumbnails for more bandwidth efficient remote support?

Asked by Matthew Armitage

I'm connecting to LTSP servers from a remote location, and I find that the interface is running a little slow. I suspect that it's the client thumbnails that are slowing things down. Can I disable this with a settings option, or a command line switch?

Hi Matthew!

Currently you can not disable the thumbnails.
Maybe asking the clients to give 1x1 sized screenshots will help though.

You can do this by adding the following lines in ~/.config/epoptes/settings, under the [GUI] section:
thumbnails_width = 1
thumbnails_height = 1

Can you help with this problem?
