How to rebuild media cache automatically?
It would seem that Entertainer does not automatically rebuild its database of media files. It would seem that running entertainer-server does rebuild the cache, but only under certain conditions (deleting the ~/.cache/
Is there a way to have Entertainer automatically scan for changes when launched? Using the media manager program won't work for me, as I'll be using Entertainer on a home theater PC that is only controlled by a remote.
If this isn't currently supported (or planned), can you point me in the right direction of how I could go about adding support for this, either internally, or via an external script? Or is there a way to disable the database altogether? All I really need is a listing of files in a directory, no metadata needed.
