Hi,

Emesene is translated by Emesene translation group.

https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/+groups/emesene-translators

Please get in touch with them to add your team to the translation group.

Actually the registration process confuses me a little where should i make the query for the registration of the team so then i can request to be included in emesene translation teams?

You can create a new team from the Launchpad from page (just like a normal team) and then contact the coordinator of Emersene translators to appoint the new team for you language of choice.

Still, to encourage collaboration between translators of various project, rather than creating a new team, I encourage you to join the Launchpad Greek Translation team (https://edge.launchpad.net/~lp-l10n-el) and ask Emerson coordinators to appoint this team for Greek translations.

Creating 100 translation teams for 100 projects is not of much help for translators willing to help with free software translations into Greek as they will have to join or obtain approval for each new team.

You can read more about Launchpad Translation project here https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/+groups/launchpad-translators and and this wikipage https://help.launchpad.net/Translations/LaunchpadTranslators

Cheers

indeed using that would be better but i think its better to have a dedicated team to it.. since being open to everyone made it the mess it is today.

so thanks for the info i will create a team as suggested and contact the coordinators.

Well you can make the Launchpad Greek Translation team (https://edge.launchpad.net/~lp-l10n-el) the dedicated team for Emersen Greek translations, just like you will do with your new team.

It is you choice if you want to work alone, or receive and give help to and from the other Greek translators.

If you or the Emersen project developers care about the translations quality they could avoid this open translations and switch the translation policy from Structured to Restricted.

Good luck!

prefer to have better control than run around the Greek ubuntu team as in Greece MSN is widely used and emesene is a really good project i think its translations should be of equal to real high quality . that is why i prefer to have a dedicated moderated team than merge with all other Greek translators
