Error installing the os on software raid.

I am trying to install the os version 0.3.1 onto a software raid. But the boot loader fails to install leaving the system un-bootable.
While this happens while using mdadm for creating the raid, also going the 'btrfs' way runs into numerous errors and doesn't even allow creation of raid device.

I have done this in Arch system, may be am still very new to the workings of elementary. I wish to learn the ways of it.
But before that I would like to know does it even support installation over raids or not?..
