Providing synapse as built in app for elementary 0.3 and above

Asked by Suraj Patil

Mac OS has an awesome mode of searching files/applications, there is an open source alternative to it called as synapse, why don't we provide that as default in elementary, it is boring to do alt+f2 and search in the apps, with synapse all you have to do is alt+space and you can start any app or anything you did till now by typing in the name, for eg if I am reading a PDF book called go programming and I type go programm then it opens up the pdf book, which I would have normally gone through a much longer route by files -> navigate -> open pdf. It is beautiful and a clean way of opening stuff.
