Why does Elementary OS send users to Ubuntu support and not to Elementary support?

Why does Elementary OS send users to Ubuntu support, and not to Elementary support? This is probably very confusing to Elementary users, to go to support, ask a question, then have someone tell them this is Ubuntu support, please use Elementary support. This is true of Geary, I haven't tried anything else.

I do not know how this is listed under wingpanel indicator ayatana. I asked the question in Questions for Elementary. As far as I know, this has nothing to do with wingpanel.

It's actually only Geary, because Geary does not have its own launchpad page. I agree that the ubuntu package isn't the right place though - I'll ask the web guys about that.
