Brasero does not run in Freya

I was going to try to burn an ISO image with Freya.
I used apt-get to install Brasero

Brasero will not run in Freya.
When I try to run it from the GUI, nothing show on the screen.
When I run it from the command line sudo /usr/bin/brasero the terminal fills with errors like:

(brasero:7450): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_preferred_width: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
(brasero:7450): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_set_size_request: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
(brasero:7450): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_preferred_height_for_width: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

Also, I tried using the command line with wodim. That also did not work.

Any help would be appreciated.
