I've been running Beta since Beta 1. Will my system automatically upgrade to the final release version with "apt-get dist-upgrade"?

Will my installation automatically upgrade to the release version? I've been running Freya since Beta.

Hi Peter,

Yes it will update to the stable release.
I would go for the graphical update tool which you can find in applications on the left corner.
because it also does some more magic ;)

Additional information. the freya beta will get al the test software because de place where the software comes from is daily changed. if you want a stable version it would still suggest to grep the stable iso and install that one.

From what I hear and read, people are having problems with the Stable version downloaded from the website. I'll stick with my beta installation for now, things seem to be better there :-)
