Will Freya support the new Intel Core M Gen.?

I'm really excited for the release of Freya. I'm already using it on my desktop PC and in summer I'm going to buy a notebook for university. I like the new fanless designs like the Asus Ux305 with the new Intel Core M processor. But will Freya support all of the hardware?

hi,

Support for a new type of processor doesn't come from the elementary team.
It is about the support in the linux kernel for that hardware.

But if ubuntu 14.04 LTS works on a Cube i7-cm

Which has a Intel Core M-5Y10. The asus you talk about has the same processor

then elementary freya will work too. because it is build on top of ubuntu 14.04
