Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 gala : Depends: libmutter0 (= 3.4.1-0ubuntu99~elementary7) but 3.4.1-0ubuntu99~elementary6.1 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

bryan@bryan-e6410:~$ sudo apt-get remove libmutter0

The following packages will be REMOVED:
  gala libmutter0 switchboard-plug-pantheon-shell
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 3 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
After this operation, 2,079 kB disk space will be freed.

And I am clear of that hurdle as far as I understand.

I recieved this error earlier, then I clicked the check button in Update Manager, and it updated fine. This happens with some packages, from time to time. I wait a day or a few hours, and it's able to install. I don't know why this is happening, sometimes with third party software, like vlc ppa's. I suggest you always click the check button in Update Manager each time you use it, or you may miss some updates.

Can you help with this problem?
