elementary OS

Have pantheon files write to desktop

Hi,

I tried Elementary os Luna beta 2 recently and I'm pretty impressed! The only thing that grinds my nerve though is not being able to put application shortcuts or files/folders on the desktop. Is this a bug?

This is a deliberate design choice, to improve workflow and prevent the desktop ending up covered in mess.

Can you help with this problem?
