Linux Image (Kernel) Branding is still Ubuntu ?

Asked by Bernd

The output of uname -a gives me a
3.2.0-35-generic-pae #55-Ubuntu SMP Wed Dec 5 18:04:39 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Can we brand the kernel so that it looks like:..
3.2.0-35-generic-pae #55-elementaryOS SMP Wed Dec 5 18:04:39 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
or in short
3.2.0-35-generic-pae #55-eOS SMP Wed Dec 5 18:04:39 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux.

Thank you this answered my question.
because i was thinking of Debian , Ubuntu they have both their own branded kernels so why not elementary ;)

Debian -> Ubuntu -> elementary
(maybe with git we can have a own kernel stream ?)

Thank You
and i will follow the bug
