Usable and clear opened window management

Is it possible to improve the multiple window management for individual apps as right now it nearly impossible to know how many separate browser windows or app instances are opened?

This fix was applied a while ago but does not show up for current installations for annoying reasons.

 rm -rf ~/.config/plank/theme
