Startup disk creator

Does the startup disk creator on Ubuntu works on elementary's iso images as well ? When Luna gets release I am planning to create a bootable USB stick using Ubuntu's startup disk creator app (if the app supports it). Also will there be similar app included on elementary OS Luna ?

In my experience, yes, it works perfectly. It won't be included in Luna,
but is available for install via Software Center.
