Time Machine for elementaryOS

Asked by Alessandro Rovelli

Hello folks, I started a discussion about a possible backup app introduction in eOS at the following link: http://elementaryos.org/support/answers/3549
My idea was about forking an app like "Cronopete" (http://www.rastersoft.com/programas/cronopete.html) that has a very apple's time machine look and feel.
I know that the creator of Cronopete, Raster, is working on a version for eOS.
Is someone else interested in helping Raster?

Thanks!!!!

Migration to CMake has been uploaded to the GIT repository, and now I'm changing the code to use AppIndicator, in order to be compatible with Luna.

So to answer the question, Sergio has decided to help us make Cronopete rock out on elementary and we plan to test it as a default app during the Luna +1 cycle if everything goes well :)
