Plank theme not updating?

Asked by Kathen Brewster

It appears there is a new Plank theme (looks more whitish) but even after updating Plank on my system it still shows up as the skinny, black bar. Don't know how else to fix this.

You need to logout, then login again.

It's locked because it's owned by root and there's no sane way to change that because Plank uses a custom config system that does not support a sane way of setting distributor-level defaults.

Can you help with this problem?
