Can i make my own live elementary ?

Asked by Emre Can

Hello all, i wanna ask something.

Lets say i need to install elementary or any other os to many computer but not the defult version. i wanna change a lot of things. such as i wanna install firefox, chrome +addons, qbittorrent or wanna change wallpaper, settings, set DNS as google's open dns. you got me, i wanna customize and then install it the way i like. so i don't need to do all these things i like everytime i isntall.

also i would like to carry a live version of my own setup, inside of a usb in my pocket ready to use. so i can use it every computer i found. i can update that every month or whenever i want...

so is that possible ? how can i turn my configuration to iso and live iso ?

You're probably interested in a tool called Remastersys that makes a LiveCD from an existing installation.
There's also a great tool for customizing Ubuntu-based LiveCDs called Ubuntu Customization Kit, however, it's much more distributor- than user-oriented.

Thank you very much, Remastersys looks great.
