Luna will use another kernel version 3.0 or later of the date of the launch of the eOS 0.2?

Luna will be based on Ubuntu 10.11 which in turn is based on Kernel 2.6.39, is there any possibility of Luna to be based on Kernel 3.0 or any later version released until November so that the system is more current and more stable?

Luna is going to be based on Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot", which uses 3.0 kernel.
