Will elementary os luna be based on oneiric?

I ask this because in the elementary os dev ppa there are oneiric packages. And will it come with Pantheon?

Yes, it's planned to make Luna based on Oneiric. We don't want to repeat this "one month before next ubuntu" release. Also, we hope that Oneiric will be more stable than Natty.
And yes, it will come with Pantheon Shell: Wallpaper, Wingpanel, Slingshot and Plank. That's essential for Luna.

I forgot the usual disclaimer about me not being the core dev in here. I can't speak on behalf of the whole team.
Also, there are lots of points that are unknown at the moment, we depend on upstream work and it's really hard to predict anything just yet.

Just as an update, the release has been pushed back to be based on 12.04, so don't expect a stable release until after 12.04 is out.
