Documentation Suggestion (Updating Easy Install scripts)

I have been looking for information on how to update the Easy Install scripts, and create new scripts. After extensive searching, I had come to the conclusion that this information didn't exist. Just now, however, I found a response to a forum post (http://ehcp.net/?q=node/556) that contains exactly the information I need. If this information could be made into an FAQ topic and added to the list of tutorials in the General Guide/How-to section of the site, that would be very helpful.
