What is Datil?

Datil is a project with a pretty narrow line of focus. It serves to help a niche market of energy specialists perform field surveys. These surveys will include data about what sort of electrical loads exist in a facility. The quantity, make and model of air-conditioners, lighting loads, motor loads, resistive loads and others will all be input into Datil and the weighed according to pre-existing data to determine the best method whereby one can save energy.

Eventually Datil will include other forms of energy conservation data, such as fleet maintenance adn fuel-additive schedules.
