Howto create login profiles in edubuntu LTSP

How would one create a login profile in edubuntu, will be deploying in an internet cafe:
1. only have certain apps appearing - OpenOffice.org, Firefox
2. only mount removable drives
3. prevent browsing of network of filesystem
4. do no allow use of terminal
5. automate removal of browsing history

You might try looking into sabayon. It is a profile editor for Gnome and I *think* it might work with LTSP. You can get some control via pessulus, the gconf lockdown tool. For more information you might also ask the edubuntu-users mailing list. You can find info on it at http://lists.ubuntu.com
